Brunch on Dale Street has become something of a Liverpool staple. Whether you’re a local looking for your weekend fix or a visitor exploring the city, this is the place to be for great coffee, fresh food, and good vibes. We are tucked beneath the Temple building, just off the main stretch, and once you find us, you’ll see why so many people return again and again. As the Echo pointed out, Dale Street is packed with brilliant cafés, but we’re proud to offer something a little different.
In the feature, our owner Janine shared her journey of taking over Baby E two years ago. After years working as a buying director in the fashion industry, she wanted to create a space of her own, focused on quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. At Baby E, everything is cooked fresh to order. There are no freezers or microwaves, and no shortcuts. As Janine says, “We are the freshest, not the fastest.”
Our regulars tell us it’s the small things that make Baby E special. Whether it’s knowing how they take their coffee, cutting their toast just the way they like it, or putting together seasonal menus for events like Mother’s Day or our Grand National brunches, we’re all about the details.
By day, Baby E is about laid-back brunches, great coffee, and good vibes. By night, we become an intimate venue available for private hire, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.
